The print quality is finally most excellent, and the paper is almost identical to my sketchbook water-colour papers.
Behold, my artist proof of my sketchbook prints have arrived and they come in two different 100% cotton paper that's acid free. One is smooth mimicking Hot Press paper, and the other one is textured, just as if they're cold press. The textured one feels just like I've ripped off my watercolour sketchbook page and put them in a frame.
The last time I made limited edition prints, I only produced five limited edition prints and two artist proofs. And they all get snapped up in one day. So here's some more finally and choices!
Not all the sketches in the sketchbook works as fine art prints, mainly due to the fold in the middle. So there will be some sketches you like that will never become fine art prints, unfortunately. But the ones that could, they'll be sold with acid free backing and matting window ready for framing. And if you live in Singapore, you can also purchase them with frames if you want. It's also a way I can support my local framer who I've been using as long as I can remember. Trust when I say this framer's work is most excellent.
For the moment, fine artist prints will be available upon request and I will print them on demand, limited to only 20 or 30 prints per sketch. Tell me if you're interested. I am working on having a catalogue of what is available for purchase soon. This is yet another mundane thing in a long list of things to do. But you can request for a catalogue once I am done.
For prints sale outside of Singapore, you're responsible for the shipping and duty and I recommend framing it where you live. I can send it worldwide with registered mail.
I am so excited about this and also anxious at the same time. Wooooo hooo hooo!
