Shathoon Drinks Corner
A drinks stall I frequent because we made a connection from being a regular. This hawker center is in Bugis, and is where you can really see a harmonious mix of Chinese and Indian Singaporeans. The man is very friendly, and is used to serving me hot Teh Halia and knows that I can order multiple because I sit for hours. The neighbourhood is near a vibrant street called Waterloo street that has an Indian and Buddhist temple next to each other, and they cross worships all the time.
