Free Annual Community workshop (online)

Since 2020, I’ve started to run a couple free community workshops via eventbrite. The community workshops are free, and it serves the purpose of providing free art workshop for people who cannot afford to pay for a full price workshop, and expose new participants to my teaching style as well. The workshop varied in theme, and it’s been really fun to meet all the participants from around the globe.

The past community workshops during the lockdown era has been a sketch-a-long, travel series where we pick a beautiful spot somewhere in the world and we learn more about the place and sketch together. And the most recent one was where I teach how to draw a single droplet of water using watercolours. The workshops is always well attended and I love getting to meet new participants.

So this end year workshop, I decided to do a short version of my new workshop Drawing with Both hands.

The free community workshop has also brought out quite a lot of sad stories where people who are so grateful to be able to join the free sessions shared their less than ideal situations; from having sick children, financially difficulties to being homeless and living in shelters. I make no judgements and believe whatever it is that is going on in their life, everyone is trying their best.

I am just happy to empower people, and feel that this kind of free community classes give a lot of good vibe and energy to everyone who attended.

I am very fortunate to be able to give my time and do what I love, and make people enjoy their time learning together with me.

So come and join my last community class of 2022 if you haven’t yet:
