New Rong Lian Ge Cantonese Roast Duck Rice
A feature in this hawker centre in Bugis for many years, I had a good time sketching this stall, it had all the classic flavours of a good BBQ meat hawker stall, and has one of the best Roast duck rice. The other feature I had to include is the rubber yellow wellington boots that the uncle was wearing. If you come here, you have to prepare to queue, and know your order when it’s your turn. A cleaning aunty kept asking me if I could give her my sketch once I am done, and I had no idea what to say but laugh. My original sketches are all done in a sketchbook on location.
